CONSPICUUM (TRIPTYCH) HENRIQUE MONTESANTI PHOTOGRAPHS ON CANVAS
Inspired by the theme of perception and dilution, Conspicuum was created based on the installation work of Olafur Eliasson, a Danish artist that uses mirrors in order to challenge his audience with the idea of what is reality and his view of perception. His work incorporates the work of physics, neurology, psychology and optics by using mirrors and installations.
In this artwork, I hope to challenge my audience into seeing reality, or at least an illusion to it. By going to this space at the Pinacoteca in São Paulo, Brazil, I was able to pursue my theme of perception, and create beautiful aesthetic images that blended well together to create this piece.
